Front End

I'm skilled in User Experience Design, using the trinity of HTML/CSS/Javascript. I also have extensive experience in Front End Frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery and Node.js. I have worked with clients on various websites and applications that you can find in my portfolio section.

Back End

I use PHP as my main imperative programming language. This allows me to process and present information in a dynamic manner. I love to challenge myself and I am adaptable when working on projects.

During the eleven years I spent programming and setting CNC machines, I learned many beneficial practises. One of which was a procedural approach. This is the practise of breaking a job up into steps that need to be taken to manufacture a component or fabrication. After lots of practise at this I developed a way of thinking that enabled me to compartmentalize a process, and rather than be daunted by the overall task I could tackle it one step at a time and in this become a lot more efficient.

I also became proficient in learning new or different operating systems for CNC machines relativly easily as the fundamental concepts would stay the same, only the syntax or digital readout would differ. I think that the skills I learned in the engineering industry gave me a solid foundation into computational operations and this gives me an advantage in the feild of programming.
